Seems Chinese take aways are quite rare all round...

Will relax it to any take away / pie shop / patisserie etc.

How about your bike next to a 17th or 18th century building, it has to have the date sculpted into the front of it, above the door or somewhere below the roof line?

I'm sure its a wonderful place to visit and you had a good ride out, cracking mug shot but..... is 1863 old enough?   ;)
I think in this instance it should count because the general  idea was to get something really old/unusual in the picture (the building, not the mug shot!) and you've done that, so, go on then, next please  :)

It is seeing it is a Samsung 7 lol. Okay next challenge!!!!!!! seeing as the weather is supposed to be good in the UK for a few days no doubt a few will head for the coast.
How about your bike beside an Ice Cream van with the sea in the background. Preferably with you eating an ice cream.

Come on then you lot who live near the sea, its great weather and I plan on going out tomorrow and I need one of you to win the challenge and set a new one so I can do it. I know the idea is to get out on the bike but I live just about the furthest you can get from a coastline.

I work maybe 100 yards from the beach and live within 2 minutes so that's not an issue. Finding an ice cream van anywhere near it  on the other hand is quite hard. I don't think they are allowed on our front due to the racket formed by the shops haha

Actually by road the nearest bit of coast is 76 miles and that is the nature reserve of The Wash so the most likely place and nearest for me is Skegness which is 96 miles, so I will leave this one to someone else but I think this weeks end is the best possible chance anyone will have of that particular challenge. But like has been said the problem is that those little boothes and stalls have the cream market all sewn up.

Out on the Norfolk coast from Caister along to Hemsby there is actually a converted land rover ice cream van that drives along the beach.

Where are you Sharpie? :) I'm about 65 miles from Skeggy in Nottinghamshire and I thought we were about as far as it got. Mind you being 65 miles from Skeggy ain't too bad, we could be a lot closer. :lol

Will some one do this and set a new one as I have a day pass tomorrow but I am not risking the coast as there might be showers

Same. I've just come back from a jaunt along the West coast, Blackpool, Knott end, Lytham.  No ice cream vans to speak of...

I'm sure in the original rules it says if it hasn't been completed in a week then there needs to be a new challenge issued? Maybe about time the last winner made up a new one?
