are you ready for a green engine? https://www.facebook.com/groups/fz1fazerbits/permalink/1206389466118568/?sale_post_id=1206389466118568

LOL!  :eek

I saw that on FB last night, not sure its for me.
It looks like the engine was sprayed green all in one piece, looks OK now but just wait until it has had parts removed and put back on and the paint flakes around the joints of the parted pieces.
The bike its self looks OK in the pics with the black engine, but the seller says its in parts now (A project) but no pictures of the bike that needs putting back together , and, no pictures of the damage that was done when it fell against the wall.
If it was just a stationary fall against as wall why was the whole thing stripped down?
I feel there might be more to it than meets the eye. :rolleyes [/size]

Cynical! :-)
it does beg the question, if you can get the engine out, you know how to put it back in. I could do that in an evening... although I would be s*** scared of scratching it.

A few coats of black on the engine and get rid of the wheel stripes and I think it'd be a good looking bike with low miles.

I wouldn't call that a bargain. You can get a some very nice, complete and with long MOT bikes for similar money.

If he was asking for £300 it would be better.

Don't make him angry. You wouldn't like him when he gets angry.
