Well I received my new R6 shock today (thanks Luke) and after stripping the bike down (replacing chain and sprockets as well, so wheel out job), I thought I'd check all the suspension bearings. The linkage bearings were ok but the swingarm bearings were knackered! The swingarm was wobbly! Thankfully managed to get some replacement bearings (for free!) and fitted them. Unfrotunately ran out of time tonight (doing the work at a mates garage), but I'm pleased I decided to change the shock as I wouldn't of known about the bearings and I'm just thinking of the speeds I was doing last Monday ! Gulp!!! Hopefully get it all together tomorrow and it should be like a new bike
