Milton Keynes Motorcycle show - Sunday 17th July
« on: 11 July 2016, 03:24:08 pm »
Hi all, Milton Keynes first ever Motorcycle show this weekend and it's free...

http://www.mkbikeshow.co.uk/

Would be good to make it a success so they consider putting on another bigger and better in the future.

Many thanks,
Lord,
Grant me the WD-40 to move those things that are stuck, the Duck tape to fasten those things that are loose, And the wisdom to know the difference.
Amen

Cheers for posting. Might pop along if it's dry. Excuse to get out.
I've shared it on the street triple forum.

Well, it was a nice day for it. Had a good ride up there. Mooched about for a while - lots of bikes there. Good place to have it as there was loads of space. If it happens again hopefully there'll be a few more stalls/exhibitors. Can't grumble seeing as it was totally free! KFC very handily located too! Great excuse to go for a blast ob a sunny day anyhow. Cheers for posting.

I'm glad it went so well. I will confess I was a little sceptical how good it would be... I agree, it does need more shops and somewhere to get drinks would have been good but I guess that means more licences and hoops to jump through.

As you say, can't really grumble for a free show. I have been to worse shows that I have actually paid for lol

From what I have heard a fair few exhibitors dropped out at the last minute... I did notice markings on the ground but with nobody filling the spots so this is probably accurate.
I think if a few dealers had got on board it could have a bit better. and a free/cheap way to promote your local business.

Hopefully next year. :)
