Those cables seem to be a hit and miss affair, to such a level one would wonder about their quality control.
Know a few who are very happy with them and others who had nothing but problems with them (e.g stretching, stiff to use, lasting only a few thousand miles, cable rubber perishing within 12 months, inners to long or to short) and would never buy them again.
I replaced my own clutch cable on the 600 at 64000 miles with a second hand one which came with a sprocket cover I was buying for the internal damper and plate and cost £26. Was taken from a 17000 miles crashed bike and has over 20000 miles on it now.
An oem one is about £40/45 and considering how good they are and how long they can last, they are probably worth it.
