Hey I thought I'd just introduce myself as a new foc-er on here. Off to pick up my baby next week, a 1998 FZS600. Can't wait! ;D glad there's a lively forum here to help me find my feet & join in on a bit of random banter. Roll on the nice weather!

What a load of bollocks! it's a known fact that the red ones are the slowest that's why there are a number of old farts on here with red ones. Red on the traffic lights means STOP and that is the state of nearly all red fazers, static or very very close to stationary. Now SILVER ones are the bees knees they are defo the fastest  :lol

All this chat about which colour is fastest, why has it never been put to the test?

Take no notice of Tommy,  his alzheimer's is worse in the mornings, by late evening he reverts to normal (well his version of normal  :evil ) and knows that black is the stealth machine, red is the fastest.  :lol :lol and silver is just silver. :eek

I don't know if any of you guys have actually noticed that in fact red just seems faster, black is more sexy and stealthy but silver is defo the sharper and quicker of the old box eye bastards. Can't comment on the fox eye 600's "colour-speed" ratios as I have never owned one (After a box eye it seems like a step backwards).  :lol Strange tho is the fact that silver gen 1's are not so fast, it seems that with the bigger brothers then blue is by far the faster hue, I am talking of course about the earlier galaxy blue and not the awful dull midnight blue that appeared just before the gen 1's were replaced by inferior machines.  :b

I agree that the silver Fazer FZS600 Foxeye is static, but the Silver Fazer is static electricity, you don't see it coming, you don't see it going ,but you certainly know it when you caught by it. :foc lol
