Weather proof mobile holder
« on: 13 November 2015, 02:39:50 pm »
I'm struggling to find a good waterproof mobile phone holder for my Z3.

Only one I found that looks good is the following: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Arkon-Motorcycle-Motorbike-Handlebar-Waterproof/dp/B003FMUP0K

Anyone tried it out? Or recommend another one? My only condition is that it can swivel to landscape mode, so i can use it as a sat nav.

I've tried one like that before (not that exact one, but one very similar).

Very leaky I found it, bad for condensation etc.

In the end I just gave up with mine and binned it, I suppose if you had an actual waterproof case and then stick it in that holder though that would work ok?

Isn't the Z3 a waterproof phone? Wether you would trust it would be another matter though.

+1 for ultimate add ons kit. Had their waterproof holders and power cords for last 3 Iphones and no leaks or breakages. Also swivels for satnav.

I've used loksaks in the past for keeping things dry if you have  a leaky holder

Thanks, that ultimate add on place looks pretty good. And if it's vouched for, must be up to standards.
