Undecided about my front and rear.
« on: 01 October 2015, 10:02:34 am »
Hi all,

Over the coming winter months, when I wimp out of riding in the cold, I will be rrying out a few mods on the 600.
Not wanting to spend all of my allowance in one go, I will be doing half the bike this year and half next year.
What I want to know is, is it better to do the emulators and springs up front or R6 shock at the rear first?
Which one would give the biggest benefit to handling?

The bike is a 2000 model and has done 15000 miles.

My last bike was a 1978 GS550 cruiser, so the current Fazer suspension is fantastic as far as I'm concerned! I had a 13 year break from riding after my GS so I really have nothing to compare the Fazers suspension to.

Any advice is welcome.
People who think they know everything are a great annoyance to those of us who do.

I always think its the front that gives you confidence so personally I'd start there

Depends what your riding , sometimes it's better to do the front first , sometimes the rear .
