Not sure about that colour either. Never seen one like that before. Why would you want a slow colour anyway?

Its purely for the ABS. After the shunt up town with the van recently in the wet, a little switch has triggered in my head that for the mileage I do it's now a must have - especially in London.

FZ1S with ABS than - surely way better than Hondas  :lol

:lol :lol  Both scouting the same bloody bike, what were the chances eh?

Pleased for you Robbie, nice one fella. I really did try to like the colour because the rest of the bike was totally spot on including options...........and a feckin mile away from me.

Agree that Silver and Black are better but would also take the white or candy red ahead of the blue - personal choice.

I know where the bike is.........good luck making it to the motorway :rollin

What about this one?

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201501140154985?search-target=usedbikes&make=honda&model=cbf1000&maximum-mileage=up_to_15000_miles&maximum-age=up_to_8_years_old&postcode=rh118jd&radius=100&sort=default&page=1&logcode=p

cheaper than the yucky blue one so leaves you cash to add the rack etc.

Not a bad shout BB - worth thinking about.

Currently scouting this one - NOT BLUE, nice rear shock upgrade, knuckle wind deflectors, comfort seat, lowers etc. Mileage is double but I do about 20 - 23k a year so is it an issue. It's also private so a hard haggle down to £2800 could be on the cards.

Its a cracking bike Noggy - turbine smooth, no vices and handles very similar to a FZS. Just wish the CBF1000 forum wasn't so fecking boring. Have I bought a boring old bastards bike so none of them have a sense of humour  :lol

Yeh it is shit...my mate said that.....one guy asked for advice to upgrade his rear shock...6 months later he had 3 replies....one said they didnt see the point in replacing the standard shock as they were great............the next said go on google......the third was pretty helpful and just said get in touch with hagon or nitron........that was it...no ribbings or anything :(

Nope, not a single piss take - loads of "use the search, it's been covered" with no link or "should've posted that question here" or feck all replies. Little bit patronising and weird as feck. Reckon they're all sensible  :'(

Got it in one Sinto. This site has got to be the best bike or car forum I've ever been on. Loads of good advice when you need it and follow up checks to see how you're doing. Add a lot of associated piss taking which are relevant and you quite simply have the perfect forum.  :guitar

Its funny you mention it being turbine smooth. That was a description I used when I got mine. 4th gear from 10mph all the way up to silly speed. Like a turbine, not a hint of snatching or coughing.

Or even 6th at 30mph and pin it....is a Gen1 Thou pretty similar? Going to have the CBF as my 365 commuter and thinking now about changing the 600 for one of the Gen1's up for sale to have as a weekender (or give the 600 some needed TLC). The Tiger I just can't part with - not many around and it gets lots of comments.

Out of curiosity BB, mine's a 57 bike and just running my first tankful to check range so what are you getting to a tank ?

Same riding style as my other bikes and currently have 136 miles clocked up with a tad over a 1/4 tank left (I know it's 4 litres left at top of red mark)
