Help!!!
« on: 27 August 2015, 06:21:23 pm »
Major rear brake caliber faff. So I got a 2003 Yammy Fazer FZS 600 (2nd gen. So I went to change the pads, I loosened the first caliber pin ... fine, went to loosen the second and .. snap - the head popped straight off!

How on earth do I get it out? I can't drill it our and retap it coz then the new pin won't screw in? An 'easy out' won't work coz it's too small. Any wisdom? Any help much appreciated.

Cheers peeps.

Could you split the caliper and grip whats left of the pin in a vice and turn the caliper.....a good soaking with gt85 or similar before you start would help, soaking overnight parhaps...
One, is never going to be enough.....
