Thinking of fitting a Fazer mk2 rear swing arm to my mk 1
« on: 24 August 2015, 09:39:19 am »
Hi.
Can any body tell me if they have been able to fit a mk2 rear swing arm assembly to a mark 1.  I ask this due to the rear shock are not being serviceable on the mk1 fazer.  I thought the mk2 assembly would be the way forward to get round this issue?
Cheers.

Box eye & Fox eye are the same shock & swinging arm so you can change either or both.

You considering an 04 on?
Unless everything lines up, sprockets, suspension link etc you'll probably find it cheaper to buy a new Hagon or similar
Complete fabrication, I didn't make it up!

Rear shock can be refurbished if that's what you want?

There was a change to the chainguard mounts between the first 600s and the later models
