And another thing - if I am approaching from the left of the picture and turning right as I go around the paint other cars behind me and going in the same direction as me cut the roundabout out and seem to get angry with me for going around it and so remain right up my arse the whole distance of the remaining street.

We must have vastly different riding styles as one thing that has never been an issue for me on a motorbike is a car being too close behind me, it's the fuckers in front holding me up that are my issue  :rollin

Really? I can't stand it, and find that it is almost guaranteed to happen to me on the way to work on a Monday morning, and it also really pisses me off as i use a couple of roads with speed bumps and again cars tend to handle them better so end up tailgating me in angry frustration.
I'm of the belief that if you're that stupid to drive that close to me then if i really do need to slam the brakes on for whatever reason then they simply won't be competent enough to stop in time.
Plus you'll get the real arsewipes who'll tailgate you in really bad weather when you can barely see what's in front of you, it's just bad manners, arrogance and a lot of the time deliberate to be intimidating.

Don't get me started on speed bumps, when in the car I HAVE to go down a particular street that has them - I have no choice but that same street is used as a rat run and a short cut (which is why the bumps were put there in the first place)
Every day I have to go over them and I don't want my car suspension knackered so I go over them slowly and every time I get people right up my arse cause they are using the rat run / company car / tractor waggon / shitty car. We come to the end and I turn right and they straight on and I hear the wheels screech in frustration as they speed off.
My advice to you is if you don't like me going slow over the speed bums FOCING go around and don't use the rat run.
I don't do rain or threat there of. dry rider only with no shame.

👏👏👏

And couldn't agree more about the so called 'celebrity' BS that's spewed out of the tv sets and today's youth. Between that and social media 'influencers' I'd say they have very few good role models to base themselves off.
Having all this 50th anniversary of the moon landing stuff going on just highlights how much society has changed.
Back then kids looked up to extraordinary people. People with skill and dignity, they aspired to be great and reach for the stars..... now days they look up to gender confused sados that have the highest score on a video game or the most likes on a picture of their toast 🤯🤯

Well said that man :thumbup

People who moan when it cools down and rains for a day or 2.

My garden/allotment is parched. I hope it's cold and pisses down all weekend :)

RESCUED. Over used word, like many in the English language these days. Celebrity, Legend, Star etc etc. Rescued? Two dozen kids stuck a mile underground, yes. Sailors pulled from a sinking ship in a gale, yes. People held hostage against their will by crackpot religious fanatics, yes. People asked to get off a train which has broken down and onto another one which has been readily provided? For fucks sake!!!

Yet again, I just received another phone call by some dipshit telling me I've been involved in a car accident.
Who in their right mind would advise someone to say that to a random person on the phone, it's just sick and twisted?  :grumble

What gets my goat is that global warming doesn't happen when the weather is cold and raining - or at least the global warming believers only come out when its hot and point to the sky shouting see-- see. There was so much pressure placed on breaking the UK record it looks like they are doing a recount because it failed to beet 2003 :rolleyes .

I think you will find that 'weather' and 'climate' are two different things :rolleyes
In fact climate change leads to increased rainfall, not less.
The newspapers don't seem to understand that

We have just recorded the highest ever temperature recorded in the UK.  38.7 degrees at Cambridge University's Botanic Gardens.  That temperature has to be verified by the Met Office.

The 8 hottest years globally, since records began, have occurred in the last ten years.

At the end of the day if you keep increasingly the concentration of co2 in the atmosphere, then you will get temperature rises.

Oh global warming will see increased rainfall in the UK, and in particular more flash flodding.

Once again, all the predictions are coming true, but still there is little sign of any willingness to change.

These people "who know what they are talking about" receive their funding - livelihood - pension from the very government who then use that "evidence" to #1 Control you #2 Tax you (also a very good method of control ).
All of science is not in agreement despite what the gov controlled MSM tells you. The whole global warming (sorry climate change ) push by governments is motivated by tax. Its brilliant really and working, as we are the witnessing the first time in history where the population are asking for more tax.
Think about it, that tax people are willing to pay be it - climate levy / fuel tax / green tax /Congestion Charge  doesn't all go into saving the planet it go's into building more roads and weapons and chemicals - all not renown for their green credentials.
Its heart warming really the child like quality that some people portray when they believe what they are told by their "caring green governments". Carry on believing what you are told -- carry on asking for more tax but rest assured that tax will not benefit the poor which are so often used as the flag bearer for the liberal champagne socialist elite.

Yep classic liberal elite. As the great philosopher Mark Almond once said in his non stop erotic cabaret thought piece

I'll talk about famine
While cooking my dinner
While my head gets fatter
And the starving get thinner.
Misery
Complaints
Self pity
Injustice

I think you will find that the intended purpose of these taxes is to change behaviour :)
London Congestion Charge
Climate Change Levy
Air Passenger Duty
Vehicle Excise Duty variable rates
etc

You really believe the spin the of "the intended purpose of these taxes is to change behaviour" then good for you that is totally your choice and right to believe what you need to. Who's behaviour do you think these regressive taxes in the name of the environment  will change -- the rich which the left (you) hate or the poor who can not afford the fuel tax - brand new low co2 cars and haven forbid they treat their family to a little holiday via a plane or even put in a little extra fuel in their old cars to drive to the coast for a few days . Typical left champagne socialist liberal elite attitude. Those policies are  not going too well for Macron right now. And the London congestion charge is just accelerating the economic cleansing of the capitol but maybe that's your plan.
