Not sure about the "WE" remark unless the "we" are humans.
It’s a big export industry for Scotland.  But of course, the export side of it is under threat by BREXIT.
As wide as you do open your mouth about brexit at every opportunity I would of thought you could get by on swimming around for plankton  :pokefun
I don't do rain or threat there of. dry rider only with no shame.

We the UK.  Oh I've corrected my dates, 1970 - not 1870 - DOH.

We’ve still got a significant fishing and seafood industry here in Scotland.  It’s a big export industry for Scotland.  But of course, the export side of it is under threat by BREXIT.

With the rising price of fish Pollock is another recent addition, it’s dirt cheap.

I shall be sampling some fine Scottish sea produce at The Green Seafood Shack in Oban on holiday next week.

Staying at Fort William, but Oban is worth a visit for that alone :b

(It's the shack that's green, not the seafood  ;) )

Rumour has it that as the last commissioned war ship seaworthy available HMS VICTORY is be being made ready for sea to protect the British trawlers from the French. She will be putting to sea if/when they can find a crew that can sail her.
:lol :lol :lol :lol
What's HMS Victory going to do?   Sink a few French trawlers?  Show em who's boss?
It's bollocks.
The situation should and can be solved by a little diplomacy.

You could also try https://www.lochfyne.com/ expensive but enjoys an excellant reputation for first class sea food.

I've eaten at the Cambridge branch where I live.

You do a bit of walking don't you?.

I'm hoping to climb Ben Nevis next week.

I've done Snowdon and Scafell Pike this year and hoping to complete the 3 peaks.

Happy to receive any tips regarding route etc.. :)

Not done Ben Nevis yet. When I get round to it I'll be following this route - https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/fortwilliam/carnmordeargarete.shtml
Which if you like walking that's an excellant web site https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/
The above Ben Nevis route has quite a bit of ascent and could make for a long day.
I would suggest there are better walks than taking the goat track up Ben Nevis.
Where ever you walk do check - http://www.mwis.org.uk/ - before you set off.

I find people doing that a lot more frequently these days, and it's nearly always the same type of person who does it, who i will refrain from mentioning so as not to upset anyone.
And as you say, it never gets any easier, it's still a brown trouser moment, even more so when they approach the junction at speed then slam the brakes on.

Another i seem to be getting a lot more of, mainly in the mornings, is people tailgating me.
If people are thick enough to drive that close to a bike, then i simply don't trust their ability to slam the brakes on if i have to in front of them.
More people are born because of alcohol than will ever die from it.

No worries.  Loads of routes on that site.  If you scroll down and click on the maps you’ll get lots of routes by area.
Another handy feature is, from the drop-down menu at the top of the page, click on hills, the category of hill you are interested in, then the hill map.  Great way to find routes where you are.
On the route notes you can click on a map of the route and print it out if you want.  If you sign up (free) when you zoom in it’ll switch to 1/25,000 OS map.  Bing maps also have an OS feature.
Pay attention to the weather forecast, go prepared, take a compass and know how to use it.
Have fun.

What's HMS Victory going to do?   Sink

Excuse me for editing your post, but if they tried anything with the Victory, it most certainly would sink!

Perhaps some of the foreign aid budget wasted over seas should be used to restore HMS VICTORY before it's to late to save an important part of our history that helped to keep this country free from French tyranny.

to restore many things in our own country that have been neglected due to "lack of funding."

You mean our money that Theresa May is using to try to bribe African countries with to get them to give her some crappy trade deals so she can claim that Brexit is a success?

Oh, and when she's talking about helping them with "security", she really means they'll be buying British weapons...

What really gets my goat about that foreign aid budget is our clever political elite borrow the money it's us taxpayers that have to pay it and the interest back. Let the scrounging  f****s borrow there own money.

Usually bribing them to buy shit they don’t need.  We are just as shitty, grubby and corrupt as they are.

But why all the fuss about foreign aid anyway?  What about the billions upon billions of pounds of un paid corporation taxes.  Endless companies from Starbucks, to Amazon through to Vodaphone etc, who do millions or billions of pounds in trade in the UK yet pay next to nothing in the way of UK corporation tax.

The Tories and the establishment in general ain’t interested in doing anything about it as they profit from it.

Meanwhile we subsidise many of these non-tax paying companies with tax credits for their underpaid employees.  I call it socialism for the rich.

BREXIT.  The UK will become a low pay, low tax economy with hire and fire employment policies, with a growing arms sector selling to blood thirsty Wahhabist IS supporting regimes such as our good Saudi friends.

BREXIT just means the toffs are going to fuck you harder.

Meanwhile few of you will notice what’s really going on as you will be continued to be fed a diet of shit, such as rants about foreign aid and/or anti-Semitism in the Labour party by the establishment owned so called news papers as The Sun and the emerging alt-right on the internet.

Yeah it all fucks me right off.

Yup selling weapons for the precision bombing of school buses full of school kids on their way to school.  All blown to bits.

Doesn’t it just make you so proud to be British!

when we walk from Brexit with foc all......and believe me we will, no matter how good the Tories try and dress things up..........sooner or later the people will have enough and I predict riots

I hope I'm wrong, I really do. But if things pan out to the point about we're being told....lack of certain foods/drugs etc then I cannot see people standing for it anymore

There should be a vote on the deal.

If the polls are correct a majority no longer wish BREXIT.

Further, moving forward, the demographic will increasingly be pro EU.

Not to mention bike prices have already risen some 15% since the referendum, and could easily rise another 15% post BREXIT.

VNA It doesn't take you long, no matter the subject to turn it round to your views the evils of Brexit, Tory politicians, big business/corporations, Well here's some news for you most ordinary working men/women are well aware of the rubbish churned out by the afore mentioned and the Bearded wonder and his cronies but don't get on their soap box and preach about it.
