My car (and bike) insurance has Class 1 business but both specifically exclude food delivery.

So if you popped out in the evening, as you fancied bringing home a takeaway, you'd have to walk??
I now understand why you've been defending illegal pizza delivery (scooter) guys.  :lol

no - That comes under pleasure unless I am being paid to deliver it.

I am not defending the moronic riders of those scooters, I was just saying that despite it being wrong on lots of levels, it is legal.

Just thinking about your comments BB make me wonder if standard domestic and pleasure insurance would cover delivering pizza or any other commodity

Simple answer: No.

Pizza companies etc have their own insurance for their mopeds. To insure a regular bike for such work will probably cost several thousand quid!

How about the fast food (usually pizza) delivery guys, on the scooters? It would be debatable if they even sat a CBT!
Absolutely ZERO consideration for other road vehicles (cars or bikes) or even traffic lights, etc - on off the pavements. "Helping" give motorcyclists a bad image.
I do wonder about the legality of employing someone to deliver stuff who hasn't got a full driving licence.

They are licenced to ride (assuming they have done the CBT) with a provisional licence so it is legal even if it doesn't seem right.

If any of the riders get injured in an accident, their insurance company may throw a wobbly if the company has not done their own health and safety checks to confirm that the rider is capable though.

Ever seen one that looks capable? 'Reckless' would be a better word, which seems to be a necessity when delivering a pizza.
I reckon if they get injured they end up as a "Meat Feast Pizza".  :look

Passwords.
Have had an account set up with a well known retailer for years but not used for a while and went to buy something and NO I have to reset my password to something better so I enter a few more letters- not enough as I need some higher case letters, so I do that - no good as I still need some numbers, so I do that, great -now I have re enter it again to confirm and FOC me I have forgotten what I put in the first place so have to start over with a pen and paper at hand.
I know its for my own protection but there must be an easier way. I am going to have a chip implanted in my brain - it may even help with my everyday life.
I don't do rain or threat there of. dry rider only with no shame.

Those Next Base Dash cam adverts. "Supporting the fight against Tailgaters/middle lane drivers" etc.

The people who want these cameras solely so they can report other peoples misdemeanours, should automatically be not allowed to have one.

Someone posted a good one to my local paper about this.

They said that the dash cams are mostly used by people that drive everywhere limping along at half the speed limit and they have the device to film all those mad speeders overtaking them!😄.

I can see they they would be very useful in an accident though to establish the facts.

We have a tomotherapy system here which has something like 20 different usernames and passwords! WTF! And those are just the official ones, let alone any user specific ones.

Grr! Tell me about it!

I have a way of generating passwords that *I* can remember and which are secure, but there are still too many websites stuck back in the 1990s with the "got to have upper case, lower case, number and special character" BS which is a PITA to recall and isn't as secure at all :(

See correcthorsebatterystaple for more details...

People that think it's funny to creep up in order to surprise you. Especially when you're using power tools.

And Grumpy Eric at my local. The only person i know that is picking holes in Blue Planet 2.

Online news articles that tell you what was said in a twitter feed then put a picture of said twitter feed underneath.

Reading online reviews of new bikes like the MT10 and Z900, and in the comments below the article someone ALWAYS puts "it looks like a Transformer!"
That's the whole idea you fucking idiot! They wouldn't get to live peacefully among us if they disguised themselves as penny farthings now, would they?
Broken, bruised, forgotten, sore,

Saw a car yesterday which was slightly wondering about in the road, then noticed a toothbrush in the drivers hand as he made a turn.
Can you really be that late to not do that at home before you leave?  :rolleyes

When you loose your wallet!*!
It's not the little amount of cash that's in it, it's the hassle of phoning up the banks to get everything sorted out ffs!

I did that a number of years ago. Found my wallet the next day. Had to wait 3 days for all the new cards to arrive as I had cancelled the one's in my wallet. What a pain it is not to have access to cash for a few days.
