Sorry to hear that HH. Hope no particular damage done when it fell off the stand. Understand how you feel. It's knowing when to give up !

quick search on google tells me box hill to new milton is about 95 miles + mileage to get to box hill...thinking of getting to sammy place at mid day ish, plenty of time then to have a good nose around...how about meet at 9am at box hill ?

route south on A24
west on A272,taking in loomies and onto winchester
if we are a bit behind,a quick blast on the M3,M27
south A337 to lyndhurst
A35 to new milton and sammys place

not a motorway fan but it might help us if times tight  :rolleyes ...will look for other routes between now and sunday.....A272 ive done before, good road righr across the south downs, great reviews for sammy millers so shaping up to be a good day    :D

Dazza, Midden,

do you want to meet at Nells around 8.00am? Should be able to grab a bite to eat and still make Box Hill for 9.00am.

Mtread, want to join us? we could meet at the BP station at the Fortune of War about 7.40am. then onto Nells to meet the others

According to google maps about 45miles & 45mins by M25, but like you said what is the negative fudge factor for Red bikes and 600s at that.

Being on a Super Slippy Supersonic SILVER bike I'll be there before I leave so no problem. We'll just have to watch out for hedges and the like with your yellow hedge trimmer :rollin
