Wanted, gen I comfort saddle/pad
« on: 22 June 2015, 01:15:09 pm »
As it says in the title, I'm after a gen I comfort seat to do a bit more distance work with, either that, or a clip-on style seat pad to make life a bit more bearable.

Cheers
Stevie.

Yeh universal, they get good reviews online and among tourers but tbh i thought it felt weird on my Gen 2 and i think i need more than a different seat to make mine comfy....was worth a try.

FZS 1000 rather than an FZ1 Val

I was looking to improve my seat and finally decided to go with these guys at some point:

http://www.sussexmotorcycles.com/elite-comfort-motorcycle-seats.html

The price seems very reasonable and they say good memory foam is better than gel.

I am inlcined to beleive that.

Hi Trev,
Had a look for the large pad, and there seems to be a few different sizes. Could you take the measurements for me please, you might just be onto a sale here :D

Why not move your footpegs back/up a bit.
I did Rome in 20 hrs on mine and didn't need a chiro afterwards.
Costs @ £25

Yeah, I've got some adjustable pegs in mind too (for the missus) I'll give them a go and see if it's more comfy for her.

If these comfort items don't work, next year it's bye bye Fazer :'(

Am I that easy to read? :D

I was chatting to a guy last night at the st Anne's bike meet who had a Tracer. Both he and his pillion said it was an incredible machine. It certainly stirred the soul again :P
