Argh, god damnit Nick... I love the Lava Red colour scheme on the gen 1 and now it is plastered all over the forums where I have to stare at it - it's eating in to my productivity haha  :lol

So get yourself one. It's what bank loans are for  :rollin

Back home now after just under 700 miles in 3 days, my arse is sore but the trip was well worth it.

I can't thank Slim & Nick sufficiently for their generosity in taking a full day out for what I have christened "Crisp Willy Eater's grand Welsh day out featuring Andy" or "It weren't araf hot Mum"

The weather was beautiful
The scenery was beautiful
The roads were beautiful
The company was beautiful rugged

Wales more than lived up to the hype as biking paradise, the route Slim picked had the best stretches of Tarmac I've ever ridden, just fantastic.

Things went a little bit awry when we played "Spot the Willy"

Fazers on stunning

Beautiful photos PieEater. Er, well, mostly. I'm sure they'll give you much pleasure when you browse through them at an idle moment  :lol

Glad you enjoyed it, but you don't need the company for that, although that can be a bonus  :lol. Just a good bike, which you have of course, and good weather. We looked at mostly A road stuff yesterday, but if you ever get the chance to go back, have a look at some of the smaller mountain roads too. A different kind of riding, and the scenery is even better. You can easily spend a week or two exploring the area, and still want to go back for more. Let me know if you do decide to go again, and I can recommend many more routes  :)

Hi Slim - Yes Andy made it up to see his relatives with a slight unintentional detour, Nick was pretty spot on with his timing too at three and a half hours.

I like that last pic through the grass......like a herd of bison at the watering hole

If only someone had parked the red yin in unison it woulda been better......possibly a reason for it being kept away from the grass :b
Easiest way to go fast........don't buy a blue bike
