What’s your technique for straightening the disc?

Little word of advice........don't do that.
One, it's just wrong, two, i've never heard of a warped rear disc, EVER, and three, don't do that ever again.....please.
You aren't 'fixing' anything by bending a disc. If it needs changing, then simply change it.
I doubt very very much that it's warped anyway, just give your caliper a good clean up and use Red Rubber grease on the outer pistons, do it once or twice a year and it will not misbehave.

Don't worry all he wanted to do was show off his 15 inch Bacho adjustable

Judging by his foot in the photo, that really is a large adjustable spanner isn't it?  :eek

Bacho is good kit - with an expensive price to match. That is an expensive spanner !

Still won't straighten a disc though!

I better bend it back then :D . Thanks, appreciate your concern darrsi. I overhauled the rear caliper with one of the stainless kits, took it for a run and felt the back pedal pulsing, feeler gauges between disc and pad showed 1.5mm gap (guessing its been bent during a tyre swap in its past) after straightening I checked for cracks with detector spray. Previous owner fitted a new chain believing the old one was the cause of a clicking noise, turned out to be the disc catching the pads.

Mine is slightly warped too, on a 1000. Caliper not dragging, perhaps it was at some point prior to my ownership. New pattern discs are available on fleabay for less than £30 but it doesn’t really bother me enough to warrant replacement. Got a few Bahco in the garage of varying sizes too 🙃

I use my rear brake a lot in traffic so i like it to be sharp and very responsive.
Got a Galfer disc with SBS Ceramic pads and it's the best combo i've ever had on the rear of any bike i've owned.
Not the cheapest out there but you get what you pay for with discs.

My Bahco adjustable will outlast me. Bugger, that's just devalued me to less than 50 quid.

I have a Bacho file rasp/metal and an adjustable extra thin wide jaw good for plumbing work. Been hanging my nose over their 8224 adjustable pump pliers - sick of my crappy cheapo ones loosing the size I set

You're having us on fella, surely you don't take a pair of gas pliers to the brake pots!?!

:lol  Celticdog, they were seized solid 1/4 way out, the caliper was in the vice getting plenty of heat and the pistons were heading for the scrap heap anyway, so no harm done.

I I will look into the knipex ones they look like they have plenty of setting positions which is another bug-bear I have with my crappy cheap ones.
deeteefifty - I would of thought with all that expensive kit you could afford more than one pair of shoes :lol

My stilettos are out of shot, that's just one of those shoes you find on the road, I keep it in my pocket for emergencies, in this case it was used as a prop to give a sense of proportiontion to my exhibits.
