Rode her to work. Hacked through 15 miles of London traffic... slipped through the narrowest of filter gaps... spanked the wide boy in the car who didnt want to let me pass... cruised by the coppers without waking them from their slumber. She's 20 yrs old, 10 yrs with me. Best bike I've ever owned.

Cut off 5mm of the leads and swapped to NGK SD05F plug caps. Filled the tank with 99 octane and fuel system cleaner.
And found a leaking front shock.

Its an exact match but not genuine and cost £350 incl delivery. Its rubber but feels harder than I was expecting, or the OEM is no knackered.

£3.50 is much better
for £350 i could have hired a lathe turned you a set in hard rubber and spares in alloy and then had the rest of the week to make parts for myself (steel and alloy included lol)

I went to pick up the centre stand from the finishers. Found it on eBay last week.Structurally sound, so I had it powder coated.Bought it to replace the old one which was corroded and cracked.

Very shiny and new looking! :)

Could you not have cleaned the ebay one up and spray painted it yourself? It's hardly visible there under the bike anyway.
Unless you are restoring a museum piece... obviously.  :)

It only cost £20 for powder coating so wasn't worth the pissing about, especially with the state of my hands.

Thats a good price where was that. I did mine by hand last year over a couple of days and despite my best efforts its got some rust coming through - next time I will get powder coat I think.

It was done at Wrexham Metal Finishing on Wrexham Industrial Estate. I have never had anything powder coated before so I didn't know what to expect regarding price. My bicycle frames have always been stove enamelled. I am very happy with the price and would use them again.

Just fitted my refurbished replacement centre stand and replaced a bent clutch lever. It was almost impossible to get it on the knackered stand before. Now it just flies up effortlessly.

but new chain, wheel bearings, sprocket carrier bearing, brembo brake disc, callipers dismantled blasted and rebuilt (DONT DISMANTLE THEM)
new pads and pins, coat of black paint on calipers and hanger
just needs an mot (shit chinese headlight might kill me on that)
