Re filled my Tutoro auto chain oiler with new oil. Checked all vacuum hoses/wiring and yup........still don't have any 'cos it doesn't need all that extra buggering around  :pokefun

Also only drips oil when i'm moving  :guitar

Yeah but doesn't necessarily drip oil the whole time you're moving.... (In my experience - I had one once on an Apr*l*a. A right naus to set up and not always willing to work:pokefun :lol

Full day in the garage today fitting a replacement engine. I'm very pleased with how it went, but I hope to God it runs ok, because I really don't want to be taking it back out again anytime soon.

Took the old girl out for a test ride after fitting thundercat forks, yokes and bars ready for a track day at brands hatch on 6th of March. just  basic setup but she feels so much better and is wishing me to tip her in to the corners only wish it is warmer and dryer. A bit of fine adjustment and she's ready for ragging around brands.

New shock arrived from Hagon, can't wait to fit it and take it for a run.

Chris

It wouldn't be fun if it was easy, I just wish it wasn't this much fun.

speedo stopped working so removed wheel and found it broken
thought i would give the legs a lick of paint and snapped all the fender bolts (17 yr oxidization sucks)
removed entire forks to remove bolts and paint
making a new bracket to fit my koso style speedo and get the dominator headlight wired up nice and tidy
need a jigsaw to cut the ally bracket nicely so doing a few little jobs tommorow untill i can get to screwfix
will try and remember to take some photos tommorow.

Loomies run for me in Hampshire this arvo, the place was packed, a little bit of sunshine on a Saturday and all the boys we out on their toys. I did not hang about as it looked like a 20-25 minute queue for a coffee so I visited my old mate (Wildplum) in Hindhead got a cup of tea instantly and it did not cost me a quid.
Luvley jubley. :lol

The other thing I did to my Fazer today, in fact 3 minutes ago, was to raise the gear shift lever by one spline on the shaft.
I have just purchased some new bike boots (Really pleased with them) but I have been finding it difficult hooking up for the next cog especially when ragging it, what was happening was my boot was just stopping the lever from dropping low enough to allow the lever to engage for the next cog swap position. :rolleyes
= Fat feet :'(
