haha :lol :lol :lol :lol

Nick is not supposed to laugh and you lot want me to take the laptop into hospital  :lol :lol :lol :lol

Nick as i do too wear good quality bike jackets with back armour built in,mine feels fairly solid ,,he landed on the sharp edge of the tarmac where it finished and dropped onto grass lower down,a very sharp edge,,,how much his inbuilt armour helped ,,no  one knows

As for his riding ability, well he said he has ridden over 3000 miles in the last two and a half weeks :eek ,,  when this happened admitadly
we were riding for fun,,you kno, we all do  it sometimes, vrrmmm vrmmm :lol , watch the hedge :eek :evil

The damage would not of been so bad but Nick is a bit weak on his right shoulder side,,years ago damage,,lots of it,,as he dropped off the edge of the road,,he thought he could still survive it but the jolt made him slip back on the seat and opened the throttle wide,,, :eek :eek

, yes he did those bushes on full throttle,,haha,, riding the hedge of death,,,a witness told us of the screaming engine..

I ask,, is this the first Yamaha 1000 strimmer to be used in Wales  ??? :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol

Well I went to see the chap last night,,he was resting well listening to music.

He has his back brace fitted,,he has been up and out for a fag :\

There is a chance he will be home today,Wednesday,,depending on another x-ray inspection.

He is very happy with Devilsyam and his offer to have the bike down at his and source a whole new fairing, ect set (haha, even though its is blue,,(,hhaha, the best mod ever to make it fast,,==make it blue.)  :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol

He didn't like the laughing pain when I told him, about his coma lasting ten years and Christo has finished his project and Noggy has been for a ride on his,,,he did not fall for that :lol :lol :lol :lol

So the old foccer may be back down south,,or souther more soon.

Laughin my tits off at this thread!

Just got back home, 120 mile ambulance ride from, er, Bill tells me it was Shrewsbury, knew it was in Shropshire somewhere  :rolleyes

First off, many thanks to slimwilly for visiting and mercilessly ripping the piss out of me, keeping me up to date with some of the comments here - top man, very much appreciated  :thumbup

Many thanks for all the good wishes expressed here, this remains a great little community we have here  :thumbup

Just a short reply for the moment, bit tired, bit sore  :\

Sum total of damage to myself was two cracked vertebrae (t9, t10), no displacement, and all stable. Bruises and contusions to lungs, and discovered on getting mobile again properly for the first time yesterday having had a back brace fitted that I must have twisted my left knee a bit (again  :rolleyes), but not too bad, will heal ok I think.

Luke, will be in touch shortly  :)

@taylor - that showed you sheep-shaggers, didn't it!  :lol

@frosties - you will NEVER get your hands on my bike!  :lol

Yellow ones definitely trim hedges better than any other colour  :D
