Yeah Firestorm's are awesome too but I think the TL in the R form looks so nice which is big praise from someone not too keen on sports bikes. Like you say though, tiny fuel tanks and thirsty engines are a let down. I don't often fill my Fazers tank, usually spend about a tenner but its nice to know when I do I can get 200 miles. My best record ever was 225 2 up in Wales although that was pushing it! I have the 18L tank I think, but yeah spending however much on 17L of fuel to do about 110 miles would get annoying especially when you're stuck behind a tractor or awful driver on solid double white lines and have to sit there at 25mph which seems like about every single ride these days.
Sooo, a short update. 125 keys are sorted. I got the key code from the dealer and got 2 new keys cut. Ironically found my key 15 minutes after getting home from collecting the new keys so now I have 3... No harm though as it can't hurt to have spares. Did my first day of my DAS today. 7 hours on a Honda cbf600 and I am now exhausted. Riding that bike was a genuine pleasure and I am now even more excited to pass and get my fzs, it was even more enjoyable than I ever imagined. Riding my 125 home on the 35min journey after experiencing the 600 was less fun though... It felt like a toy and really put into perspective just how small it is.
If it were me and it had been sitting sorn for a while, id change oil oil filter air filter sparks, service brakes, check the chain. possibly drain the fuel tank.
Well done you for passing :-) Now the fun begins lol
So kepha, how's the bike?
no mods for six months, spend the dosh on fuel and good protective gear and enjoy it.
He did the right thing, start on a slow one first and then buy a red one What's the news, has it been sorted
Happy with my purchase. Not happy with the current situation with the brakes
Is it the left disc?
Generally I have been happy with the work from this garage in the past.
