got mine new in 06 just coming up to 40,000 miles no real problems apart from gearbox sprocket nut coming off? discs still ok and not replaced pads yet. Just had first main service new plugs, air filter, changed fork oil and coolant greased swingarm, gets a oil and filter change every year/5,000mls. tyres as and when needed, it's had a hard life riding with some fast lads, well trying to? I ride all the year round as long as it's dry(ish), might need a clutch in the next year or so. Personaly I wouldn't go for a ultra low mileage bike as it will have been stood without being run for long periods?
You should be able to find a very good bike around £1500?
