Aegis - cometh the hour!
« on: 10 September 2014, 02:28:32 pm »
I think it's about 10 years ago that I became a foc-u moderator, then a few years later an Administrator, then in 2011 I took over from TCat as head honcho. For 9 of those years I've had great fun and really enjoyed helping out. It's been an honour to run an important part of such a great club. Moving the board over from Yuku was challenging and a good experience.

However for the past year I haven't been as enthusiastic and have come on here less and less (I'm sure some of you are thinking "Who's this bloke?"), so I am standing down - the board needs and deserves an active admod team.

So to announce that Aegis is taking over as head admin. I've made many mistakes but offering admin to him wasn't one of them and I'm really happy he's agreed to take it over. Please cooperate with him as you have with me.

Thanks to all the members, new and old, who make this board and club what it is, whatever that is. Now stop reading this tosh and get it ridden!

The lunatics really have taken over the asylum!!

Cheers for everything Frazer, the time, energy and detail you've put into the club has been invaluable, here's hoping that you put many more miles on both your bike and the forum.

Hello Frazer

Only just caught up with this as I'm seldom here these days

I would like to say a heartfelt thank you for everything you've done for the "club" over the years, in this incarnation and the others.
You deserve a medal mate.

warmest regards

Les

Thank you, and thanks for all your help especially during that long period of testing various incarnations of a new board. It's due to that help that the transition went as smoothly as it could.

Sad to see the end of an era, Geek ;) but then there always comes a time when you have to move on. Thanks for all the hard work, you've been an admin since I joined the board and it'll be strange not to have you there.
Sadness is just another word for not enough coffee

Congrats Aegis!

Thank you Farjo for all your hard work to get the forum to where it is. It's such a fantastic resource and is testament to the hard work the admins have put in.

All the best,

Chris

It wouldn't be fun if it was easy, I just wish it wasn't this much fun.
