Yeah,, run faster
Just thought I'd ask if there are any runners out there? Im 34, Just started enjoying running and at the moment achieving 10km in 44.18 minutes. Not sure if this is good? My best mile is 6.40?Any training tips in reducing 10km time?
One piece of advice I will give you is make sure you are wearing top quality running shoes. Jogging, running etc! is high impact.I was a runner for over 50 years and my knees are shot to feck. To be honest if it is fittness you want to maintain nothing is better than swimming. No impact on any joints and is also a full cardio workout as well.If you continue to run make sure when you finish you do stretching exercises , squats etc!
I went for a 6 mile run on Monday.I'm still recovering!
Many thanks for everyone's comments. I can see the what people say about the addiction. Once over the pain of running! Just going to keep working on it with intervals. Decent running trainers.... Top of list followed by Gucci gadgets Going to see if there are any running clubs local to me.
