Cooling fan.
« on: 22 November 2014, 11:16:22 pm »
Just a quick question, when I first start my bike from cold after about 10 to 15 seconds the fan comes on and stays on till I put it into 1st gear then it goes off?
Is this normal or is the thermostat fooked?

The fan shouldn't come on straight away, it should start up after a minute or so. According to Yamaha this is to prevent the fan blades from distorting from the heat coming from the downpipes.
