Must have been a poorly Fazer they tested then, as a good one would wee all over a Hornet.......

Aye, and the garage selling it wanted £2300...Really.

Not a bad review, but they seemed to short the Fazer a bit. I would like to see one being compared more indepth.
Not quite sure what to do with my early mid-life crisis. Ideas on a post card to P.O.BOX 150...

Before I got mine it came down to a Hornet or Fazer.

Looked into the Hornet and was nearly convinced until I read about the nonstandard sized front wheel on some models, realised soft pannier luggage was a no no then I sat on one and realised how small they seemed.

Spoke to a biker while I was on holiday and he said something like this,
"Fuck that get yourself a Fazer, it goes like a rocket cos it's got the engine out of a thundercat (wrong), they last forever and you can pick them up cheap"
Think he might have owned one but it was still better than anything fence-sitting sales men had said in a month of looking around shops.

Still, I'd like a go on a Hornet to make sure I made the right choice...

as an owner of both, the best way to describe the hornet is its like a norty unschooled horse that will do what it feels like when it feels like it, and for that reason i love it, the fazer on the other hand is like a well schooled horse, show it a corner, and you are round and off onto the straight before you know it, it will always do what you ask it to in a well mannered way, i love them both for very different reasons, and the tank size was never really an issue, most people i rode with wanted a fag stop anyway lol
