just bought on of the GoPro  hero 2014 models, looking for a bit of advice on which is the best part of a crash helmet to mount it on.  :pc

The only way to put a GoPro on a helmet without it looking silly, would be to use a chin bar mount.

Get a chesty mount and be done with it. I've always thought a big square camera like that on the helmet must cause a fair amount of wind drag. Surely at high speeds it must become uncomfortable?

there is no external mic connector on this model, and thanks for the suggestions, I don't think I will mount it on a crash helmet and go for the body holder arrangement--thanks Foccers. :pc
