Possible over fueling?
« on: 11 February 2012, 04:43:30 pm »
Since changing my downpipes from OE to sandy spares i've noticed a drop in MPG from 48 to 42? i'm running it with a K&N and a GPR racing can also.

Or could it be due to the extremely cold weather we've had recently?

Could just be the carbs need balancing. I know that seems to always be the advice given on this site lol but after changing downpipes they definately will need balancing as and if they are out of balance then that will explain the poor mpgs

checked the plugs and it doesnt appear to be that rich, maybe a tad.

restricting exhaust flow would effect the power though? The powers best its ever been tbh, i'm going to do  a few tanks to see the mpg, i only initially tested it at 80miles
