Here's a potential pub quiz question: how many times have Germany won the World Cup?

And whilst you think about it, is it still believed that the trophy is different now to the original because it got lost in London in 1966?

And the answer is: none :) (but West Germany won it a few times ;) )

I remember something about a dog called pickles finding the cup in 66.  Brazil should have the original cup as they won it three times. I don't know if any others have done that yet.

Yes you're right :thumbup Argentina, Brazil, (West) Germany and Italy have all won the current trophy twice so if any of these win we'll have a new trophy in 2018 :) Very interesting!
