Need some help to get a box eye fairing.
« on: 30 April 2014, 08:56:56 pm »
Hi all.  As the title says I need some help to get a box eye fairing.
Visited my local yamaha dealers (John wren) in Barrow in Furness
To ask about the possibility of him ordering me a blue box eye fairing.
This is where the help I need comes in to play. I need the chassis number
Off a blue box eye so I can order my new fairing. Can anyone help me
Please. 70s kid (Paul).

The bike VIN(frame) no is stamped on the headstock-the frame tube that supports the steering tube/yoke assy. It is on the offside.
You will need the model code details which are on a sticker on the frame under the seat. Be prepared for a nasty shock when he quotes you a price!

Send a PM to Tregzy (on here) - he has a blue box eye fairing for sale.

You can get a brand new painted fairing from Wemoto or Fowlers. What year is your bike? The only blue one on the Yamaha Parts Catalogue is a 2001?
