:D   TIME TO PLAY TOP TRUMPS.....................

Right

Till 2002 I worked on board cruise ships as a fine art auctioneer, saw most of the N. hemisphere and travelled as a passenger!!!

Came back to the UK and fell into a job delivering brand new Aston Martins  :eek

Left there to take a job as Sales Director for an avionics company providing dynamic operational meteorology :rolleyes
( all avionics foccers NB as I can still arrange demos, trials etc !!!!)

Now mainly a part time Lock Keeper ( cock leeper?) at Shepperton which pays foc-all except huge job satisfaction.

I have been lucky enough to never need to stick at any job which I didn't enjoy.

I used to not give a foc, then I discovered Red Bull and now I don't give a flying foc !!!

My official job is running a few businesses in the UK for a Global construction and infrastructure business.

One of them specialises in Vehicle Graphics - yep, that's "stickers on cars (and bikes)" to most people.

On my own I run a small aviation services business - eg hiring out my helicopter to people who want to fly it and doing a bit of crew work on the side - with the exorbitant maintenance costs I get hit with it looks like a couple of the foccers who've already posted here are going to be my new best friends  :)

Courier which has been quoted for me.
I used to be a pub manager but sacked for breaching health and safety - I rode my rossi rep minibike through the pub!
I'd had enough by then anyway, never do that job again!

Being serious...we are all to blame.....but at our own cost eventually :\ .......i got my missus one of those 70's egg pod swivelly thingys...about £600, nice red upholstery., fibreglass shell, swivel base....lovely.........a month later she is in it and the pigeon shit weld from China gave way & she came tumbling off the base :( :( :( .

So i kicks off..bla bla......gets a replacement.....replica iconic Poet Sofa.......2 months later......our pals are sat on it........foccin leg snaps off & they tumble onto the floor :( :( :( .........got my foccin money back....i sit on the floor now :b

You get what you pay for but some of this shit isnt that much cheaper considering the dramatic drop in quality

Went to university to study Model Design and Special Effects (yes that was an actual course). Finished up as an architectural model maker till I got made redundant when the recession hit.
Became a duct fitter on multi-million pound hotel projects all over the country, then jacked it in to become an apprentice pattern-maker. I'd had enough of cold sites in the winter.
Now I just make patterns for engine blocks and the like. Loving it :-)

Ogri - you still playing bass these days? Used to see you occasionally round the Peterborough pubs with Smithy.

Thanks Nick, for the nice comments.
Yes, of course we'll do discount for FOCcers - 10% off our usual cheap rates, making it 18 Euros (£15!) including breakfast and garage parking!
Be good to see you and other FOCers over. Maybe we should have a Euro meet, though the annual one from the German forum is just down the road.

Not for BT, with Eircom, but worked with them for many years in the eighties from across the pond in Dublin, all through the changes from Government owned to Privatisation. Trained a lot of BT staff over the years too. Most were all ways good for a laugh :)
