cheers for the reply bud , would be coming from cork in ireland so it be a bit of a trek to say the least , but will be giving it some serious thought , what benifits from either are to be expected

Downey
Cork is a fair journey(done it a few times)
if this goes ahead there is a high possibility this will happen at my place as i am close to the airport Mike is talking about  and not far from Glasgow
im sure we could sort something out  ;)

Mike

Hi Downey

Please e-mail direct from your e-mail account, not via the forum route.  Also, could I have your name and contact details in that e-mail.

I've got my reply to you ready to go.

Right, game on!  Flights booked (Friday 19 Sept - Sunday 21 Sept) and venue (Irvine) sorted.

There's still a good few slots available for those who have been fence-sitting about this.  It's going to be a while before I head this way again, so now's the time to commit if you've been wondering whether or not to have it done. :)

I'll contact all the folks who've signed up already in the next day or two to ask for preference on date/time for their appointment.

Big thanks in advance to Brian and Mick for making this possible. :)

There have been a handful of other owners posting in this thread who expressed interest initially but were unable to make the original dates at the end of September.  I've PM'ed everyone to see if moving the trip forward by one week changes that now.

I still have a few slots available during the weekend I'm in Irvine (19 - 21 Sept) but would like to sort out the plan soon so that I can get the order for jet kits and air filters processed in good time.

It's taken several years to finally get around to a Scottish trip.  Don't miss the chance, fellas - might be a while before it happens again. :)

Best thing you can do to a gen 1 ;)  I might take a trip down to Irvine to meet up with you guys and mike. My bike was done in july 2006!!! It has ran perfectly in all that time. My standard fazer honestly feels like a yamaha diversion in comparison!

Two of my mates have bought fazers on my recommendation and both have been ivanised! If bbb has his slip on kit for sale i might be intetested for my standard one. ( need to be cheap as i cant really justify tuning a bike i only use for work). Irvine road down from barrhead is a cracking road to test your bikes once ivanised :)

Mike did my previous Fazer several yrs ago down in sunny Cornwall! I moved back up to Scotland in 2008 so am now wondering if I can get my hands on a Fazer 1000 for the right money and to get Mike to work his magic up in Scotland if there are slots free!

I think there are a few free slots as the numbers are at the minimum to get Mike up here.
