Sat in a conservatory with rain pattering on the roof listening to Dark Side of the Moon sounds like a crackly LP....the good old days??

Agreed - here is one of my favourites the first half of the lyrics kind of sum up my riding and the last part the disease that took him.
He really is a Rhine stone cowboy now.

He had a great, rich voice didn't he. The music comes over as genuine and full of emotion.

Like Johnny Cash, he had a much wider appeal beyond his natural audience.

lol someone bought me that Whale Songs Almum a few years ago after I had gone through a very bad patch in life they said it would help by de-stressing me, that exactly what it did it fucking distressed me, what a crock of shit. It is now tied on one of the rigging lines on the front gib of my mates yacht nalong with several other discs it stops the seagull perching there and shitting all over .the deck. Taking the yatch across to the Isle of White tommorow if it's not the windy talking about 17 to 19 mph winds in the Solent so will be a tad choppy

Got hooked after seeing the Skin N Bones concert/documentary on tv.
I really like their acoustic stuff.

Unbelievable.

Not your average biker music, but this guy is an absolute inspiration.

His name is Nicholas Macathy I saw him in concert (My Wife's idea not mine) in London and was completely blown away by this guy, he is a left hand pianist, its not just that he plays left handed he has no lower right arm at all.
Not saying you will like the music, you may, but its worth just watching and listening to what can be achieved  with dedication and balls the size of footballs.
