British Exhausts
« on: 21 March 2014, 04:12:50 pm »
Has anyone any feedback on any of the British exhaust makers, such as Beowolf, MTC, Pipewerx/Hawk, etc or of any others?

Looking for street legal/bsau really to keep the feindly boys in blue happy/ish.

I highly recommend Blueflame exhausts. Good quality, great sound, good service from them and UK based. Not bad price either.

It wouldn't be fun if it was easy, I just wish it wasn't this much fun.

I have a Quill exhaust and i'm very happy with it.
Nice deep but innoffensive rumble for general riding speeds then a nice scream when giving it a bit of welly.  :evil

+1 for the Blueflame, the best £150 I've ever spent on the bike!  The sound is perfect for me, the bike sounds like a real bike now, loud but not over the top and road legal, will never get board of the bubbling when I roll off the throttle.  Great service too :-)

I had a Fuel on my fzs 600 and now have a MTC on the FZ1 and found both to be of good quality.

thanks guys, hadn't even heard of some of them. Unfortunately some of them aren't supplied for Fazer/FZ8. Got a rebate from HMRC so going to have to decide soon before it gets spent!!!

Martin at MTC used to work at blueflame and started on his own i know him well (good guy) although if im being honest i'd go for the blueflame higher resell value. Im not fussed on beowulf dont like the cheap looking sticker they put on there exhausts look naff.

Just ordered a Scorpion serket stainless endcan for my FZ1-S. Not here yet but i chose it because of it's looks and it sounds good on the you-tube vids!

Agree about Beowulf, nice cans but the logo ruins the whole look.

I've had Fuel cans on two bikes so far and the quality and sound has been great, you even get a bar of Kendal Mint Cake in the box, which swings the whole deal for me  ;)
