« on: 08 March 2014, 12:22:13 AM »
My two daughters have been competing in the local music festival all this past week, Lesley, my eldest was first in solo accordion with distinction, first in her wind band with distinction, first in her school brass ensemble with distinction, third in solo piano with commended, first on euphonium with commended and first equal with her brass band with an outstanding certificate, Kerry my youngest plays in the same wind band and brass band so had the same distinction and outstanding, she also won her class in solo trombone with distinction and got third in solo piano with a commended certificate, I am one very happy chap tonight and am have a large dram and a nice glass of Strongbow to celebrate. :D

Cheers guys. Kerry is not the most confident person so to get the distinction with trombone has given her a great boost.
