a "Window of Opportunity"
« on: 08 February 2014, 09:01:08 am »
After endless wet or grey miserable days yesterday was amazing-woke to blue skies, sunshine & no frost! Have spent far too much time indoors since Xmas on a diet of mind-numbing TV, depressing news in media etc. So on with the gear & out with "Rhondda Red". Within a mile or so I was smiling to myself and after a while was singing away listening to the soundtrack of 4 cylinders getting busy! Celebrated another birthday earlier in the week but yesterdays ride was the best present possible-biking works wonders for your mental well-being :lol  Didn't once think about the state of the nation as was entirely concentrating on the state of the roads(no shortage of water damage to roads-potholes etc). Cagers still the no 1 hazard though! :eek

Easy answer - don't watch the news and don't read the papers!

I agree there's nothing better to put a smile on my face than dry roads a nice ride and bacon sandwich. :)

That's what I love about riding, when you're doing it nothing else matters. Leave all your hassle and shit at home, get out on your bike and just concentrate on the next corner.

And the bacon butty.  :D

Even riding in this dire weather makes me smile. I get to work, bounce like Tigger to a resounding Foxtrot Oscar. All the cagers say I must be mad but they can't wipe the smile off my face.
