"Paul's walls"...gitcha kwalidee brickwork 'ear...
« on: 23 October 2013, 05:25:26 pm »
Ho hum.
Shoulder op has left me unable lift a muck loaded trowel above my head, but can still lay  up to chest height ok. So..a cunning plan. Just do garden walls for a year or so until it hopefully gets full movement back. I let the missus sort out the details, she said " P.R.Allen brickwork and garden walls sound crap, but I've got a catchy idea.."
Paul's walls. Ho bloody ho. She's probably right though. She ordered some magnetic signs for the van, and designed them herself. When they turned today, there's me on a scaffold last year building an extension in market deeping. Very weird having a photo of yourself on your van. Bizarre in fact. " but I look as if I have breasts in that photo. And, I ain't wearing me hard hat, hi viz etc that I obviously always wear ahem."
"Nope" she said, " it's perfect, you look like an old school friendly builder" we shall see
Paul's walls it is then. I'm tidying up the old sprinter as I go, hopefully that's got a few years left in it. Hopefully I have too... :)

Lol there magnetic..I just flung em on today to see what they looked like after I'd washed the van. Brickies ain't thick it's just a rumour started by chippies.  :)  I bloody hate football mark, don't support anybugger, never have done. The missus has helped out, she's put a couple on her motor.  :)
Exupnut my missus is a 34ff so at least I know she's got bigger nips than me, that's all that matters :D
Just had to change that.
, when I told her I'd put about her having 44ff on the forum shesaid " their 34ff, they will think I'm a right bloater" old age is so confusing...

............."no wall too small".............don't tell them about the 4 foot height limits though  :D

Van looks good ogri, your missus has done a good job to be fair & having a picture of yourself suggests honesty & a bit of pride in your work.... unlike a cowboy who'd want to be hidden from all sight.

....a little bit o rust suggests that the van is well used & hence you are popular but at the same time it is not degraded enough to suggest that you'll take the clients money & do a runner to pay for a raging drug habit..

& who aint gonna remember the name if they decide they need a wall.....nobody.

All good likes! 8)

Focced if you don't..... :D

Well, we ever make a meet you can strike up a conversation with her by asking lol.  In the meantime  here's my lovely missus having tea tonight down by the beach. I do love this woman. We met late in life( I'm 53 she's 43) but we think exactly alike and both work just so we can travel, either on the bike or otherwise. She is beautifull, loyal, kind, brave, tender and adventurous, and though I don't really believe in god if I did I'd thank him every day for her.
