Leather jacket
« on: 02 October 2013, 01:16:27 pm »
So i bought a leather Richa jacket off E bay i try it on,zip it up AND the slider comes right off the zip, i contacted the seller who says it is a design so in worst case scenarios the jacket can always be undone, just wondering if any of you can confirm this. Here is a link to the photo.

So you zip ity up and then the mechanism comes off the top?

Not a design feature - a failure.  However easily fixed with a bit of stitching I'd have thought.

Which suggests that maybe they do make a jacket with a zip that is designed to do that.....................or, more likely, you got some idiot on the phone who doesn't know anything about the products the company they work for sells - sigh, tell me about it  :rolleyes
But tell me, have you ever heard of such a design of zip in your life?

Sounds like a load of bollocks . Ask seller to find and send info where jacket stats safety zip , that will come undone as soon as done up  :2guns If no joy and wont allow you to return for full refund or money off to get repaired. Open a case through Ebay as faulty product . Id ask the question too as stated only worn six times , pics done show that . Maybe better in real terms , but dont look it . Will explain the zip being foocced.

I didn't read the description, but if the jacket in the pics has only been worn 6 times, I'm a bloody China man....

Well the guy has just contacted me saying the zip does not have a problem and it has only been worn six times, which you can clearly see is not the case,it is showing signs of wear around the cuffs which if you ask me should not be apparent after only been worn 6 times.Do hate having to take this route through E Bay though.
